The small print

Deposit

Your cake order will be booked in once your deposit payment has been received. All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Final payment for wedding cakes will be due two weeks before your wedding day. Final payment for celebration cakes will be due on the day of collection, or the day before if being delivered.

Cake changes

Any changes to your cake order will be accepted up to four weeks prior to your event for wedding cakes and two weeks prior to collection/delivery for celebration cakes. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed. Changes may be subject to additional charges.

Collection

If you are collecting your cake order, please keep to the agreed date and time. Once collected, the cake order becomes your responsibility. Cake by Zoe cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to your cake once it leaves my premises.

Delivery 

Delivery and set up is depending on the location of the venue and will be stipulated in the final price. I am not responsible for any damage to the cake once the set up is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or 

below.

Flowers

If flowers are provided by an outside source I will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pestisides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

Photographs 

I reserve the right to photograph your cake order before delivery/collection for my own reference and this may be used for display, advertising purposes or promotion without compensation to you.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation by you, deposit are non-refundable. Any balance paid after the deposit payment can be refunded if the cake is cancelled at least two weeks prior to the due date.

Allergy Info

All cakes are made in an environment where Nuts, Eggs, Gluten , Soy and Milk maybe present and therefore may contain traces of these products. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

Release and Liability

 I will work with you to ensure you are completely happy with your order. I shall not be held responsible once your cake has been delivered or collected . I will advise you how to transport and store your cake beforehand. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon my ability to complete the agreement and is subject to labour disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond my control.
